About the event
What is Contact Beyond Contact?
A holistic dance and healing practice weaving movement, mindfulness, and group sharing into one embodied experience. It integrates improvisational dance, qigong, yoga, and reflection to invite connection and transformation across body, mind, and heart. Learn more about the practice at https://unityspace.org.
What will happen in this experience?
We'll begin with a brief opening circle, followed by a slow, somatic arrival to help you land in your body and in the space. From this place of alignment and connectedness, we'll flow into solo, partner, and group improvisational movement. Along the way, we'll pause and hold space to reflect and integrate as a group. No dance experience needed!
Side effects may include: spontaneous joy, emotional release, and feelings of oneness.
